Topographic Embroidery

There is something so special about maps, I have always been drawn to them picking them up whenever I can, they are a sign of an adventure that you are planning or a reminder of trip you took. Topographic maps are whimsical with the lines that stay connected to form the landscapes and teach you how to read the land. I absolutely love the majestic mountains around Colorado which is what made me start this project of embroidering the Colorado 14ers. I admire the Mountains and the people who seek to climb them, it a wonderful feeling standing on a summit, but I prefer to be surrounded by the mountains, not on top, its windy there.

Pricing on these embroideries varies based on the size of the hoop and the number of topographic lines.

3” generally takes around 10-25 hours to complete they cost $100-$300

7” generally takes around 25-45 hours to complete they cost $300- $500

10” generally takes around 50-80 hours to complete they cost $500-$1000

12” generally takes around 80-150 hours to complete they cost $1000-$3000
