Memorable Moment #7- High School Sweethearts

We met on the bus the first day of high school in 2006. We were really good friends until he asked me to prom our senior year. He asked by leaving me a chocolate rose in each of my classes, and then he was at my house after school holding a red rose. We started dating that night!

A note from the Artist: This was an honor to paint as I know one of them is now a photographer. But, how often do you take a photo when you meet someone for the first time? That’s what special with this project. Especially in a time when we all have a camera at all times. The moments not caught on camera are what memories are for.
